The Red Violin AR Movie Poster

The Red Violin (1998) is a drama directed by François Girard that follows several peoples’ lives as they acquire “the red violin.” The task was to create a single poster for the film. The single poster was then expanded into a series to create an augmented-reality version of the original poster. The posters flip like tarot cards while music from the film plays. Each card represents a different story within the film. The result is an augmented poster that foreshadows the events in the film without being revealed.
